The Jung and the restless Carl Jung believed we are tied to a much greater archaic collective unconscious mind that emits universal symbols and processes we all share. Further, that it isn't possible to separate ourselves from all that has affected us as a collective soul. Oh. You meant the band. Collective Soul is playing at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rain in the Palms. Info: 940-7246.
Still showgirls after all these years The venerable French import Folies Bergere is alive and kicking with beautiful women, more feathers than Big Bird, shiny, happy costumes and, oh yeah, some dancing and singing. The can-can number still rocks. Guest star Wally Eastwood delivers a ballsy stand-up routine accompanied by some adroit juggling. Folies Bergere plays the Tropicana nightly at 7:30 and 10 p.m. The second show is topless. Dark Sundays. Info: 739-2411. |
