2 AM: Club life with Meme Hsu

I'm wearing white, but don't mistake me for an angel--it's a white lace nurse outfit so short that bending over is not an option. I have a nurse's cap and white lace pantyhose held up with a blood-red garter belt. It's going to be a fun night. Can I take your temperature? Then again...maybe someone needs to take mine. I'm feeling hot.

The thing I love about Halloween is there are two weeks of wearing my normal clothes without any weird looks. Two weeks of wearing lace shirts, see-through skirts, leather, rubber and lingerie! I love it!

Get the party started--famously!

Tonight, Oct. 23, Shaquille O'Neal hosts a VIP party at Ra. DJ J-Nice, Shaq's official DJ, spins the tunes as we all dance the night away. If you're thinking he'll be in the VIP area all night, you're probably right. But if you're thinking you won't get to see him, let me educate you while decked out in my cute little schoolgirl outfit. The great thing about Ra is the VIP area, located to the left of the main bar, parallel to the stage, is quite visible from the dance floor. You can stare endlessly at the NBA star as you rub bodies with other clubbers. (Ra, 262-4949)

Trick or treat? How about a spanking?

Named "one of the top 10 events in the world" by the Travel Channel, the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball is, according to Maxim magazine, "one of the five events to attend before you die." How can you turn a party like that down? The 2003 ball is Saturday, Oct. 25, from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. at the Orleans Arena. There will be wild and erotic stage performances as well as an exhibitionist stage, where guests are invited to be the star of their own fetish and fantasy show. Come party with all the local and visiting freaks and show off your kinky side! There will be a $2,600 cash costume contest: The first-place winner will receive $1,250; second place, $750; third place, $300; fourth place, $200; fifth place, $100. (Orleans, 365-711)

Sometimes nightmares do come true

This week I will be living at Studio 54 at the MGM Grand. The fifth annual "Nightmare on 54th Street," begins on Tuesday, Oct. 28, and continues through Saturday, Nov. 1. You'll be sure to see everything from delicious devils to erotic angels. In an environment fit for only the wildest nightclub crawlers, Studio 54's regular decor will transition into a haunted nightlife playhouse. I'll be there wearing my most scandalous vampire outfit and ready to take a bite out of their nightlife.

The weeklong lineup of sinful celebrations includes Tuesday's Hallow-EDEN; DJ Frankie and DJ Jose 2 Hype along with Joey D of New York will spin a devilishly deviant blend of music mixes. On Thursday, Oct. 30, don't miss the "37th Annual Beaux Arts Ball"; DJ R.O.B. and DJ Lisa Pittman will spin an electrifying music mix suited to the Halloween occasion. There will be special performances by cast members from various local shows, including Celine Dion's "A New Day," "Siegfried & Roy" and "Chippendales." Performances from The Sirens of TI, Culture Shock and The Vamps will round out the festivities. Admission is $15 in advance or $20 at the door. All proceeds benefit Golden Rainbow, which helps men, women and children living with HIV/AIDS in the Las Vegas community. (Studio 54, 891-7254)

Stay on the Beach

The Beach, a favorite local hangout, will keep my imagination going on Tuesday, Oct. 28, with its contests for the hottest/sexiest costumes. Hosted by Jeff G. and Hot 97.5, the Beach serves up all the eye candy you can handle.

Who said orange and black are the official Halloween colors? One of the wildest nights will be Wednesday, Oct. 29, when Wild 102 hosts the Red and Black Gala at the Beach. Wear your wildest and sexiest red and black outfits to win your portion of the cash prizes. (Beach, 731-1925)

For more treats...stay tuned. I'll be back next week to help you plan your Halloween weekend. I'll tell you exactly where to be, so maybe you can join me for some dirty tricks.
