Why is it that at every porn-related event, everyone wants to know if Ron Jeremy is there? You'd think he was an actual celebrity and not just a B-list porn star with a permanent winter coat. Mondo Porno is a multimedia event featuring bands, burlesque and a viewing of The Complete Deep Throat, an annotated version of the classic porn film. Music will be provided by Erocktica, Coyote Shivers, the Pervz and the Raunch Party. It starts at 9 p.m. Friday at the Coney Island Ballroom in the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino. Tickets are $15. We love it when a local makes the news without going on a killing rampage or being taped bribing a county commissioner. Las Vegan Destiny Davis hits the big-time full frontal in this month as Playboy's Miss January. She'll be doing a meet-and-greet, and signing copies of Playboy, conveniently on sale there at the food court in the Palms Casino. The event runs from Noon to 2 p.m. Sunday.
